So glad that you all like them....and YES they are a beautiful couple!! (Inside and out) You should be a proud mother!!
Jenny so so so good!!!. I would love to have you take some photos of my belly later this summer when it is BIG! You are really good!
So, Jenny, I'm curious as to what lens you used. You have some awesome shots. I'm paul's sister and my husband and I are into photography.
Leanne...nice to meet you! You must all be so thrilled to have Sarah in your family. We love her! And Paul is one in a million. About lenses...I shot only with primes right now. I shot with a 50mm and an 85mm. I am hoping to add a wide angle soon too. Oh the money I could spend on lenses!!
Oh, I hear ya! Right now we are debating on the 50 1.4 or the 85 1.8. Lucky you to have both. Which do you recommend if I can only buy one right now. We've got the cannon 28-85 2.8 L series, I like it but I'm not completely happy with it, for the money I would think it would be sharper... I guess you get that clarity with the prime lenses. My whole family loves the pics. I love the processing on them as well. And yes, Sarah is wonderful. Thanks for responding so quickly. I'm glad I'll get to meet you at the wedding. We are all so excited for them.
Leanne....oh...tough decision! Are you on a cropped sensor camera? Primes are definitely sharper and when you have the extra f stops you will never go back! The 50 mm is great for all around indoor and out stuff. 85mm is a great portrait lens...you have to stand back far so not for indoor or tight spaces...but it is worth it for the bokeh! Depending on what you want it for....I think you will get way more use out of the 50mm. HTH
I'm not quite sure what a cropped sensor camera is.. we've got the 40D. I've got a good portrait indoor lens so I think i'm going to go with the 85 b/c I want to get better outdoor shots. All the forums I look at have them for sale but they go quick! (used that is) Thanks for your help.
The 40D is a cropped sensor camera....the 5D on the other hand is not. That means that a 50mm lens on a 40D is not really 50mm but on the 5D it is....kind of confusing...lol...google it! You will love the 85mm and I bought mine used and had no problems with it! Good Luck!~
Hello...hello! I love the these shots. This will be fun to keep in tuoch with you.
I agree- I get way, way more use of my 50mm than my 85mm.
And Jenny- you are amazing! If I were needing engagement photos, I'd call you. :)
You'll have to do some family shots for me this fall. I would love them!
